AND THE WINNER IS............

Since no one was home but me, I went over to my neighbors house as she was mowing her grass and asked her to pick the winner of my 1st Anniversary "Giveaway!"

So..............I will be sending Annie Crocker's Sewing Box to Robin at The Primitive Hutch!!!
Congratulations Robin!!! Please send me an email with your address so I can get your prize in the mail!

Thank you to everyone who left comments. Your kind words mean alot! I will definitely be doing this again............this was so much fun!

Now I have to buckle down and get busy on my Booklet. I am "hoping" to have it done by the end of June! My daughter looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told her I wanted it done by the end of May (and yes, I was dreaming). She will be doing the layout and all the "technical" stuff for me! After she stopped laughing, she explained to me how long it actually takes to put something like this together............ok, so I should have started it 2 years was I to know!! LOL!

Anyway, I'll be posting some "sneak peeks" as things progress and I also have another sampler pattern that should be finished in about a week!

In the meantime, I hope everyone stays it ever going to stop raining!

From wherever you may dwell, I wish you peace and wish you well.

Anniversary Giveway

Good day everyone!

I hope you are enjoying the last of the weekend! Hopefully, it will stop raining soon or we'll have to start work on the ark!!! LOL!

If you read my last post you would know that we are coming up on the 1st anniversary of Falling Star Primitives on May 19th. It's hard to believe that a whole year has gone by........

I promised a "giveaway" so I'll get right to it!!
This is Annie Crocker's Sewing Box. The box measures 6" square and is 6" high. There is a wonderful little sampler on top of the box and it comes complete with a sweet little pinkeep and a scissor keep! Annie loved birds, so she made them the "theme" of her sewing box.

The inside is covered in pages from a very old children's book published in 1887 and there is a wonderful picture of a bird on the inside lid. Annie's pinkeep is also embellished with sweet little birds. A string of old buttons hangs on the outside of the box in easy reach of Annie's skillful hands....

To enter the drawing please leave a comment on this post! The winner will be announced on May 19th!

Thank you again, to all of you who have shown interest in my designs and who have supported me and encouraged me this past year............I feel truly blessed.

From wherever you may dwell, I wish you peace and wish you well....

New patterns, new pics, PAYPAL and a Giveway

It's been awhile since I've blogged. The last time you heard from me I had just been blessed with a beautiful
new granddaughter. Zoey is almost 3 months old already and is the light of our lives. She is already developing
quite a personality as you can see!

This was taken when Zoey stayed with Grandma's for her 1st sleepover!

And this is Zoey, hanging out with her mom! Is she cute............or what!!!

I have a couple of new patterns to share!

This is BUNNIES & PEEPS! I'm trying to tell myself that this pattern isn't late for this year,
it's just really early for next year!! LOL.

Stitched on 30 count linen, the finished size is 8" x 6"!

THE RED HOUSE SAMPLER is Hanna Wheeler's best work! Stitched on 28 count linen, it's finished size is 4" x 10".
Both patterns can be purchased on the website.........and guess what!!! We finally have Paypal....took me long enough, don't ya think!

I've added some new items to finished goods that will up on the website tomorrow evening, so check it out when you get a chance.

May 19th marks the 1 year Anniversary of Falling Star Primitives and I'm having my 1st Giveway!
Watch for details on May 12th for Annie Crocker's Sewing Box!

That's it for now........

From wherever you may dwell, I wish you peace and wish you well.
